Caffè Di Ola - Specialty Coffee from Peru, India and Brazil

This specialty coffee is full-bodied and has a long aftertaste of chocolate. It has notes of roasted almonds, crackers, honey and chocolate. This coffee blend consists of the finest coffee beans from Peru, India and Brazil.

Peru
The beans from northern Peru, the Cajamarca region, grow in a semi-arid, semi-cold, tropical highland with very fertile soil at high altitudes in the Andes. All of these factors contribute to the potential for specialty coffee production in the area. Smallholder farmers farm on 2-3 hectares of land, many of whom in the area work independently and some practice organic farming.

India
Kaapi Royale represents the highest quality of Indian washed Robusta, known for its exceptional bean size, bold structure and remarkably clean flavor profile. Produced from carefully cultivated Robusta beans grown in the shaded highlands of Karnataka and Kerala, Kaapi Royale stands out from commercial Robusta beans due to its uniformity, density and refined cup quality.

Brazil
Yellow & Red Bourbon are specialty beans sourced from the high mountains of Minas Gerais and have a smooth body and low acidity. Yellow Bourbon is a color variant of Bourbon characterized by yellow-colored ripe cherries – the result of reduced anthocyanin production, the same pigment that gives the red color to standard Bourbon.

About the Roastery
Ola has been working with coffee for over 25 years, has also been a taste judge and competed in numerous coffee competitions worldwide and has a documented coffee knowledge and is a certified Barista according to the SCA - Coffee Diploma. In 2024, he started his own coffee roastery Caffè Di Ola.
