You get strong and full-bodied coffee that can stay warm in the thermos for up to three hours without becoming sour. It is then important that you preheat the thermos before you brew the coffee and that you brew a full pot. Practical coffee measure included. You have a five-year manufacturers warranty on the self-brewing unit. You can also extend the warranty to double, a full ten years, by registering on the Moccamaster website within six months of the purchase date.
